Profile

Noor Petroleum Company ( NPC ), a Syrian closed-stock company with a capital of USD 3 000 000 and privilege to increase the capital among share holders and / or new investors as and when required. Company is engaged in oil and gas related activities basically to serve the mission and objectives of Noor Financial Investment Company ( Kuwait ) specifically with projects in Syria.
The company, established in 2007, originally was a result of Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Noor Financial Investment Company (Kuwaiti company) and Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources with respect to the Dier Ez Zor grass root refinery and petrochemical project.

According to the signed MOU the company would be responsible for the base line feasibility study, and any other technical, economical, marketing, and legal studies as might be needed thereafter in the process of refinery and petrochemical construction. In order to meet this target NPC is given the free hand and authority to sign contracts, employ staff and / or services of professionals as and when needed to serve the purpose. NPC plans to take any promising opportunity to invest part of their capital in oil and gas related projects.

Mission

The basic principle mission of Noor Petroleum Company is to:

Provide added value to the ambitious industrial improvement plan of Arab Republic of Syria.
Do the utmost effort to meet the mission and objective of our mother company Noor Financial Investment Company
Attract and contract top caliber professional companies for the Dier Ez Zor project.
Without overlooking the quality, perform all the work with the lowest cost.
